In the United States, AT&T, Verizon, and Lumen largely use infrastructure owned by them or existing telecom networks to provide IPTV options, however on a lesser scale.

5.Future of IPTV and Tech Evolution
5G networks, combined with millions of IoT devices, have disrupted IPTV evolution with the integration of AI and machine learning. Cloud computing is significantly complementing AI systems to unlock novel functionalities. Proprietary AI recommendation systems are gaining traction by content service providers to engage viewers with their own distinctive features. The video industry has been enhanced with a fresh wave of innovation.
A higher bitrate, either through resolution or frame rate advancements, has been a key goal in improving user experience and expanding subscriber bases. The advancements in recent years stemmed from new standards crafted by industry stakeholders.
